Important Notice Regarding Email Forwarding
In an effort to reduce unwanted email messages ("spam"), several Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are blocking forwarded email. This inappropriate level of protection may block messages originating to you from u.washington.edu. You will probably not receive a notice from your ISP when forwarded email is being delayed or refused.
Our expectation is that you are able to access and read all email notices sent to you by the Office of Professional Pharmacy Education (OPPE).
The most appropriate way to avoid this loss of email is to read your u.washington.edu email directly. If you believe you are losing email you should contact your ISP, not us.
We have been advised that the following ISP's may refuse or delay forwarded email:
- Comcast
- Verizon
- Hotmail
- MSN
- GMail
- Yahoo
We are sorry this is happening to you, but we do not have the facilities to continually resend messages to those of you who missed one.
